hello there long weekend! tasting room is open at noon for all your day drinking needs. have a sip, hang out for a sleeve, maybe take home a growler or a six-pack?
regular hours for both the TR and the eatery.
shoutout to this girl, who plans and executes all the events that happen at BNA. she rocked the heck out of this holiday party season (we just finished our last company christmas party last week). bobbi returns all your voicemails, emails, and occasionally even actual mail, and tries to organize our crazy calendar. three cheers for bobbi!
coconut & red curry broth, lemongrass, lime leaves, palm sugar, and cilantro make up our thai-style mussels and clams. and they could be yours! it's easy, just order 'em. grab a 76 wolverine lager while you're at it.
do you like beer AND supporting art in our community? then do we have an event for you!
the B.I.G. beer festival takes place at BNA on sunday, february 17th. tickets are $25 and include three tokens (additional tokens available for $2 each). a selection of new and vintage brews will be presented, with a focus on imperial and barrel-aged beers. all proceeds go to @the_alternator. link in our bio for more info/to buy your tickets!
so simple. so good.
our peruvian-style fish tacos have three main components: albacore tuna ceviche, hand-pressed corn & flour tortilla, napa cabbage with chipotle remoulade. squeeze some fresh lime juice on and add a sprig of cilantro if that's your thing and damn, they're delicious.
pamela is the perfect beer to pair with these bad boys, too. saisons and seafood are usually a nice match, and the citrus zest in pamela adds another reason to enjoy it with this dish.
this imperial milk stout was aged in bourbon barrels that came from tennessee, where the state capital's airport code happens to be "BNA." the mockingbird on the bottle is the state bird of tennessee. but what's important is the beer inside is damn good.
ever wonder why we're called BNA? this dude here started a little enterprise called the british north american tobacco company (BNATC). they grew the stuff over by benvoulin/klo, then brought it here to 1250 ellis to be dried and rolled into cigars.
long before we actually opened, we spent some time doing research on our new home, with lots of help from the fine folks at @kelowna_museums public archives. the place was often referred to as "the BNA building" and it just kind of stuck!
we like to think louis would be proud to see all the people who come together under this roof for a good beer and a good time.
